The room was spacious and clean, featuring a convenient sink and a kettle. Breakfast was a relaxed affair, with generous portions that included delightful cream cakes. Although there was a shared bathroom, it was well-maintained and not a problem at all. the decor felt somewhat outdated, and the lighting could have been more inviting. Parking was limited, making it a hassle for those with cars.

Family with children find it homely
The owner was genuinely caring. She went out of her way to make us feel at home, cooking a breakfast that was surprisingly good for a b&b, better than most places I’ve been. the shared bathroom, which I was skeptical about, was always clean, and surprisingly spacious. A bit like a little home away from home for just one night.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but I could live with that given the service quality.

The family room we stayed in was spacious and super comfy, making it perfect for our one-night stop before catching an early ferry. We loved unwinding in the lounge area and enjoyed breakfast with a nice selection, although I wish there were more gluten-free options. it was a great stay, and I’d recommend it for families looking for a cozy spot! 😊

We had a great time visiting Paultons Family Theme Park nearby, especially with the kids and our dog. The room was spacious and well-kept, providing the comfort we needed for our family stay. The owner made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit.
My kids wished the bathroom was more accessible, as it required a bit of a trek through the hallway. A little more kid-friendly space would make a world of difference.

The quaintness of the Abbey made me feel like I was visiting a charming friend's home. The decor was warm and inviting, and accessibility was a breeze for seniors with minimal stairs to navigate.
Additional handrails would improve comfort for seniors.

The twin room was spacious and clean, better than I expected. It had a sink and a kettle, which was handy. We opted for a shared bathroom, and it was nice and tidy, no waiting at all! The decor was pleasant too. Could've done with more hot water though—only had a washbasin in the room. an okay stay but a few minor things could improve it.
